The Crystal Cove Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and preservation of the Crystal Cove State Park Historic District, beach, and marine life refuge. The organization is responsible for the recent restoration of the Historical Crystal Cove Cottages. Tours of the Crystal Cove Historical District are available to the public on the second Saturday of each month from 10:00am until noon. Crystal Cove Interpretive Association

The Crystal Cove Interpretive Association (CCIA) aids visitor enjoyment and understanding of Crystal Cove State Park. CCIA works closely with park staff to conserve develop and interpret this rare coastal environment. The association supports several annual events including tide pool and backcountry walks, and whale watching. Crystal Cove State Park covers 2,971 acres covering both coastal and canyon areas and supporting marine and terrestrial plants and animals.
Crystal Cove State Park has 3.5 miles of beach and 2,000 acres of undeveloped woodland, which is popular for hiking and horseback riding. The offshore waters are designated as an underwater park. Crystal Cove is used by mountain bikers inland and scuba and skin divers underwater. The beach is popular with swimmers and surfers. Visitors can explore tide pools and sandy coves.

Members support the Laguna Beach dog park and have raised money towards keeping the park. The YMCA has proposed to the City of Laguna Beach to put a Skate Park in the location of the Laguna Beach Dog Park.
